ACWAP and Victoria Police invites you to a Development Seminar including the Excellence In Policing Awards being held in Melbourne from Sunday 11th to Tuesday 13th September, 2016.
Beginning with a cocktail function at Melbourne’s Immigration Museum, this seminar, themed ‘Leaders of today. Leading for tomorrow’ will include police from across Australasia coming together to focus on opportunities and challenges in delivering safe, supportive, respective and inclusive workplaces and work practices. The reception, awards and professional development seminar create a unique opportunity for law enforcement to share, learn and innovate on best practice ideas from which the law enforcement community can and should benefit.

The Awards for Excellence in Policing are an opportunity to publicly acknowledge and reward the
achievements of women and men who are contributing to improving policing and law enforcement for women. The awards acknowledge the work being undertaken in Australasia to ensure that women’s concerns and needs are being taken into consideration and addressed by policing and law enforcement. The formal recognition of innovation and excellence in policing provide a relevant and helpful highlight to the Melbourne Excellence 2016 program.
