The ACWAP Awards for Excellence in Policing are an opportunity to publicly acknowledge and reward the achievements of women and men who are contributing to improving policing and law enforcement and ensuring policing services are enhanced for women in our communities.

In 2025 a new award – First Nations and Indigenous Excellence in Policing – has been established. This award recognises the achievements of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Māori and Moriori women in a policing, law enforcement or justice agency.
The 26th ACWAP Excellence in Policing Awards will be presented on 18 September 2025 in Melbourne, Victoria at the 2025 ACWAP ‘Advancing Together’ Conference. Further information about the conference will be released soon.
