We are excited to announce two individual scholarships for an ACWAP member to participate in the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM) Balance Program in May 2026 or September 2026. Imagine immersing yourself in a program surrounded by like-minded women, where you have the chance to cultivate your unique leadership style and unlock your full potential.
Expressions of Interest close on 4 January 2026.
Application Process:
You are encouraged to submit an expression of interest to participate in Balance, if you meet the eligibility and criteria outlined below. Each AIPM Balance Program includes a residential component:
– Scholarship One: Monday 18 May 2026 – Friday 22 May 2026; and/or
– Scholarship Two: Monday 21 September 2026 – Friday 25 September 2026.
Eligibility:
An ACWAP woman (employee or volunteer) in a leadership role or an emerging leader (aspiring future leader) seeking to develop your own leadership approach.

It is recommended that in the first instance you prepare your responses to the criterion above and then submit your responses via the online expression of interest form. Click here to submit your expression of interest.
ACWAP will cover reasonable economy return airfares, transport to and from the Sydney airport to the AIPM and the Balance program fees (which includes meals and accommodation for the residential component only). Any other cost will be the responsibility of the successful applicant. You are therefore strongly encouraged to seek the support of your Executive to ensure that space can be made in your commitments to participate in the program.
