2024 ACWAP Development Seminar and Policing Awards
The Australian Council of Women and Policing (ACWAP) together with Queensland Police Service are proud to co-host the ACWAP Development Seminar and 25th Excellence in Policing Awards in Brisbane from Thursday 24 October to Friday 25 October 2024.
The theme of the ACWAP Development Seminar is “Inspire Include Ignite” and will be held over one and a half days at the voco Brisbane City Centre. The Seminar will provide an opportunity for delegates to collaborate on contemporary challenges for women in policing and in the community, learn from keynote speakers and share their knowledge and experiences with others.
The Development Seminar program is currently being finalised and will be provided as soon as possible.
In conjunction with the Seminar the 25th ACWAP Excellence in Policing Awards will be held on the evening of Thursday 24 October at the Brisbane City Hall. The Awards are an opportunity to publicly acknowledge and reward the achievements of women and men who are contributing to improving policing and law enforcement, and ensuring policing services are enhanced for women in our communities.
The cost to attend the Development Seminar and Awards Dinner is $515.00, and tickets for the Awards Dinner only are also available for $170.00.
